Midwest Snips® forged blade regular model aviation snips are the world's best! We offer five different blade pattern models and two blade hardness options in this product category as well as two tradesmen sets. These models perform superior to respective model ASME Performance Requirements.

Standard Hardness Models are most versatile and are used to trim or cut sheet materials including metal, vinyl, plastic, rubber, screening, canvas, cloth, etc. The MW-P6716B Bulldog Model has the greatest cutting capacity. The MW-P67S is an All-Utility Model for use on thin materials only.

Special Hardness Models are to be used for trimming or cutting hardened sheet metals only such as stainless steel, inconel, titanium, etc.

The Sheetmetal Tradesman's Choice

Midwest Snips® forged blade offset model aviation snips are the world's best! We offer three different blade pattern models and two blade hardness options in this product category as well as two tradesmen sets. These models perform superior to respective model ASME Performance Requirements.

Our offset model aviation snips are "The Sheetmetal Tradesman's Choice" because they are truly the easiest models to use in a variety of sheetmetal cutting applications. The offset blade pattern flows material away from the blades. This allows the snip to move forward without interference when making cuts through long sheets. It also allows the snip to cut tighter curves than other blade pattern models. The left and right blade pattern models cut the tightest curves while the straight blade pattern offers a slightly longer length of cut.

Special Hardness Models are to be used for cutting hardened sheet metals only such as stainless steel, inconel, titanium, etc.

A better way to cut thin and irregular materials.

Midwest Snips forged blade Power Cutter ® long-cut aviation snips are the world's best! We offer three different models in this product category. All feature an extended length of cut and a wide blade opening. The extended cut length allows the user to cut thin materials faster with fewer re-bites. The deep-serrated model securely grips and cuts soft thick materials such as rubber and plastic hose. The wide opening of the offset model allows the user to cut irregular surface materials such as ribbed siding and roofing panels and vinyl siding nail lip quickly and cleanly while keeping the user's hand above the sharp edges of the cut material. Our forged blade Power Cutter models are of tradesman quality and perform far superior to other manufacturers' stamped blade models.

Ergonomic 90-degree hand-to-blades design.

Midwest Snips forged blade UPRIGHT ® aviation snips are the world's best! We offer two models in this product category - a left and a right. These models were developed and design patented by Midwest Tool And Cutlery Company in response to NIOSH (National Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) research conducted by a major university ergonomics department and test data collected from representatives of the sheetmetal workers trade. UPRIGHT® aviation snips offer ergonomic advantages and are ideal for use in confined spaces, and overhead use.

Designed to cut the toughest round materials easier.

The patented Midwest Snips® compound leverage cable cutter is unique in design, function, and performance. Its jaws are hot drop-forged of high carbon steel for exceptional strength. Its blade inserts are manufactured of M2 alloy tool steel for the hardness and durability required to resist nicks when cutting hardened materials. Its by-pass cutting edges are precision milled. Functionally, this tradesman quality tool cuts the three most difficult to cut round diameter materials -- wire rope cable, spring hardened wire, and mild steel rod.
