This Old House Magazine Highlights Midwest Snips®

Sturgis Michigan, April 12, 2005 - A feature article in the
April 2005 issue of This Old House magazine featured Midwest Tool
and Cutlery Company's revolutionary Upright Snips™ (Model #: P6900L
and P6900R) and three other products. The four page story on snips
and scissors also highlighted the Midwest Snips® Cable Cutter (Model
#: P6300), Replaceable Blade Snip (M1200) and Needle Nose Snip (P657-N)
This Old House is one of the home improvement industry's most popular
and respected monthly magazines, with a paid circulation of over one
million copies and a total readership estimated at 6 million readers
monthly. It is reported to be the largest selling magazine at The
Home Depot, the nation's largest home improvement chain.
Introduced in August 2004, Upright Snips are a revolutionary aviation
snip that significantly improves cutting sheet metal and other materials
for the contractor, tradesman and do-it-yourself user. Available in
both right and left cutting models, the Upright Snips incorporate
a patent pending right angle handle-to-blade design.
The cable cutter combines compound leverage action with M2 tool steel
inserts in a patented design that easily cuts heavy wire, wire rope
and mild steel rod. The replaceable blade snip has cast magnesium
handles, producing a light in weight snip that features a full 3-1/2
inch cut. This versatile snip is used to cut siding, roofing, carpeting
and other materials. The needle nose snip is ideal for making intricate
