The tool's hot drop-forged blades are manufactured of high carbon steel for strength, durability and long lasting cutting edge. Hot-drop forged blades make it tough enough to readily cut sheet metal. Rated cutting capacities are: 26-gauge cold rolled sheet metal; 18-gauge copper wire; 22-gauge soft steel wire.
